FAQ

I aim to have your entire album fully edited & delivered within 4 weeks, though often quicker than that. I'll also send you a handful of teaser images within 48 hours of your wedding.

Well first thing's first, I have a very strong immune system, so it would have to be a mighty flu to keep me away from capturing your wedding! However on the very slim chance, I have a network of wedding photographers who's work I respect highly & I would trust to stand in my place. They would send me the photographs for me to edit in my style. If you chose to not have a replacement photographer, I would offer you a full refund.

I use two Sony A7iv’s with a variety of prime & zoom lenses, most of which are G Master, representing their quality. The Sony A7iv camera body comes with dual memory card slots, giving me back ups of all of your photos on the day (just in case). I try to shoot as natural as possible using what light is available, but I also use a flash gun late in the evenings when necessary.

Of course! You're not alone here, and I often find the best photographs from the day are the candid shots, capturing natural emotion in the moment. If you do want to try your hand at a few posed shots, I'll be on hand to direct you. No ones expecting you to burst into full model mode. We can have fun with it!

Not at all. I have a lot of experience of shooting in darker rooms indoors, from years of shooting yoga retreats lit by candlelight. Pockets of light can always be found & can create intimate ambiance. I often find its best to embrace the darkness, but we can always brighten things up in the edit. All things we can discuss in your consultation.

Definitely not. In fact, I love shooting at new venues. It brings my creativity to life! That being said, when I shoot at venues I've been to before, it always feels different & new. Everyone will decorate & use the venue differently, along with the change of the seasons & the weather which bring new creative opportunities. Nothing ever feels copied, or like I'm "going through the motions".

Yes of course. In fact, it can be fun to work together with creative ideas & seeing which angles each other use. We will work together to get the best results for you. If you're looking for a videographer I can also recommend a few who's skills I rate highly.

Yes of course. I'll take a look at the schedule of your wedding day & suggest the best times to capture these. When it comes to family or group pictures, it's often best straight after the confetti shot or ceremony, while everyone's in the same place & no one has snuck off to the bar just yet!
